Rain doesn't stop play at Hunstanton's Live Music Festival!

Wow! What an afternoon we had on Sunday 8th August with torrential downpours, followed by sunshine and then more showers... but it didn't stop us having a great time listening to some wonderful musicians and bands from midday until 7pm.

Ian Wells and Steve Wingate opened up proceedings with a classic mix of folk and rock, followed by the dulcet tones of Neil Reeve. Next up was the fabulous Band Age who got the crowd moving and then Emily & Jamie took the stage to treat us to their take on some more modern sounds.

Young Estie (Celeste) was on next with her special ukulele treatment of indie songs and then the wonderful Melodybeats encouraged the audience to brave the rain as they rocked the stage with covers of 60s, 70s and 80s sounds.

Our last minute addition to the line-up - Yes, No, Maybe - gave us their rendition of recent hits from songstresses such as KT Tunstall and Amy McDonald among others and then just as the sun came out, it was time for our headline band The Deps who whipped the slightly soggy crowd up into a frenzy as they performed their 50 minute set before saying goodnight. A great mix of music, bands and super talent and wonderful to enjoy live music once more, whatever the weather!
