More about Festival 3 by the Sea 

One of our most popular events is the summer Music Festival which is usually held in July or August on Hunstanton Green and features a day of live music from local musicians and bands. 

We feature two more live music events during the year with Busker's Corner designed to encourage local musicians and bands to perform in public, some for the first time.   

The 3-day One-Act Drama Festival , formerly sponsored by the HDFA and funded directly by the Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk from 2023 (BCKLWN) is staged at the Princess Theatre 30 June - 2 July and sees our budding thespians and amateur theatre groups showcasing their talents.

Our monthly Craft Fairs are popular with residents and holidaymakers alike and take place at Hunstanton's Town Hall on  the last Saturday of the month. Doors open at 10am and admission is free. Find out more here.

Festival 3 also delivers one-off shows and smaller events which vary from month to month (see our calendar of events) and at the end of the year, we host a Christmas Gift Fair and of course, our traditional Christmas Tree Festival both of which are held at Hunstanton Town Hall at the end of November and beginning of December respectively.

All these events are run by the Hunstanton & District Festival of Arts (HDFA) committee with help from volunteers and friends of HDFA and the organisation is supported by an annual grant from the Borough Council of Kings Lynn & West Norfolk and additional support from Hunstanton Town Council .
