Christmas Tree Festival 2023

Open from Friday 1st December 9.30 am to 7.30 pm

Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd  10.00 – 4.00pm

at Hunstanton's Town Hall

Come and admire over 30 Christmas Trees designed and decorated by local groups and organisations which will be on display for three days at the beginning of December.

Not only can you wander round the Town Hall admiring the trees at your leisure, you can also cast your vote for the best tree (two categories, junior and adult). The winning group from each category will each receive a cheque for £50 courtesy of the HDFA!

Entrance is free and refreshments will be available.

How to take part in this year's Christmas Tree Festival

We ask that you supply and decorate an artificial tree. You are welcome to put a collection tin on your table for visitors to donate to your chosen cause.

You will be able to set up your tree on Friday 1st December from 9.30 am. Trees will need to be removed on Sunday 3rd between 4pm – 6pm or Monday 4th between 9am – 12 noon.

While the Christmas Tree Festival is open to the public there will be music and refreshments, including mince pies and mulled wine.

We only have space for a limited number of trees so can you please let us know a.s.a.p. if you would like to participate and if you want a table for your tree – we have plenty but some trees are floor standing if they’re quite tall.

If you want access to electricity the tree will be around the edge of the hall or on the stage but if you use battery lights then the tree will be in the middle of the hall.  Plug-in lights will need to be PAT-tested with a proof sticker attached. (Unless they are brand new in which case a till slip will do)
