Live Music Festival 2022 - THE BEst yet!
What a fantastic day we had at this year's Live Music Festival in Hunstanton on Thursday 2nd June, 2022!
With sunshine all the way, the crowds flocked to the green to enjoy some wonderful sounds from solo artists and bands before witnessing the lighting of Hunstanton's beacon, part of a nationwide ceremony to mark Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee on the first day of the four-day Bank Holiday.
Here's what our Music Director Ian Wells had to say about the day:
"According to the reporter from the Eastern Daily Press, the HDFA Live Music Festival was the largest gathering of an audience for a music event since the Radio 1 road show came to Hunstanton! With an estimated 2000 plus members of the public enjoying soloists to Morris dancers to the headline act of the Melodybeats, the crowd was treated to the best in live entertainment.
"Damien from RANE (one of our live bands) said this was the 'gig of the year' and thanked me and the team that had made it run so smoothly. To my amazement, we were able to keep to schedule throughout the day, allowing the choir to have their slot in time for the beacon lighting! A great day for everyone. "
