This project was started in 2012 to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. With the help of local artist Kate Dunbar, children were invited to design a tile each to go up on the Sea Wall and to sign their names to their artwork.

In 2015 we started again with the theme “Seaside Memories”, and visitors to the town as well as local schools and residents were invited to take part and two more panels were completed. By 2018 we had five complete panels.

In 2022, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Year, again with Kate’s help, we hope to complete the last two panels with ‘Earthshot SOS Save Our Species’ as this year’s theme.

In 2023 we needed to complete all 180 tiles for the two panels alongside the other panels on the sea wall to the right of the road leading to Hunstanton Yacht Club.
