Christmas 2022

The HDFA's Annual Christmas Tree Festival & Competition.

Don't miss the 11th annual Christmas Tree Festival sponsored by the HDFA which takes place at Hunstanton Town Hall from 12 noon on Friday 2nd to 4pm on Sunday 4th December! *

The Mayor of Hunstanton, Maureen Howard will officially open the festival at 6pm on Friday 2nd December and there will be music from local choirs will at 2pm each day as well as visits from Hunstanton Pantomime characters in costume.

During the weekend, the hall will be filled with beautiful trees presented and decorated by local community groups, charities and shops and visitors will be asked to vote for their favourite tree in both adult and children’s classes. The winners will be announced on Sunday evening and will each receive a cash prize/voucher.

New for 2022 is a Dolls House Raffle for a beautiful fully furnished dolls house donated to the HDFA by a generous local resident. Raffle tickets are £1.00 each or £5.00 per strip and all proceeds go to charity. The winner of the raffle will also be announced on Sunday just before the Festival closes and and the winners can take their raffle prize home on the same day to make someone’s Christmas really special.

Seasonal refreshments of mulled wine and mince pies will be available to buy along with the usual range of food, so please come and enjoy a glass or two whilst looking at the beautifully decorated trees.

Entry to the Christmas Festival is free but donations are welcome as all proceeds will go towards supporting future activities in and around Hunstanton such as the Music Festival and summer shows on the Green next year and beyond.
